Quick update. Turned out I wired the last switch wrong and common was connected to L1 and vice versa. Once this was put right it worked fine. Thanks a lot for all the help.

Thanks for all replies. @ETAF I was actually thinking of this possibility as for the 3rd switch I had to chase the wall for the cable so maybe some debris has gone into it, I will certainly check that. @mikeyd very good point and to check this didn’t even cross my mind so I will check that.

Yes, BPS fitted them and a bit difficult to get spares. Gleeson actually not Persimmon but poor job with the fitting of the windows and doors. I’ll ring the site to see if they have spares lying around. I’m in Middlesbrough so if you can help with some names it will make my life easier.

The latch is but the keep is for a right door and can’t use now but its an easy fix with a new left side keep. Any idea if I could get a new mullion as this one looks a bit battered now and slightly out at the top and the bottom.
