I'll give that a try. Seeing as I've got a possible dispute looming, would a Bosch pump head fit on to a Grundfos base? Would there be any cross compatibility issue? Thanks.

Thanks, I've tried running the system in position 1, 2 and 3 and the issue still exists. The current pump is very hot, i.e. too hot to touch. System is also very noisy due to large quantities of air being circulated with no obvious leaks anywhere, plus multiple rads being cold or luke warm...
