That’s strange. I’ve double-checked with my DMM on continuity and the orange wire is connected to the black wire I took out of HW NO. However, like you said, I don’t want to change anything unnecessarily, I only wanted to get rid of terminal block if it wasn’t required.

Based on my photo of the current wiring above, do you think this would be fairly easy to transfer over to the hive? I will have a look for the correct wiring diagram. I think I’m just put off by the number of wires and not being able to trace where some go/what they’re for.
