    Just to update the thread, I've had a plumber look at my boiler. He pressed the internal reset button for the overheat thermostat and turned the boiler on.     Thanks for the reply. I'm pretty sure he did. In any case, he's ad a look since and said that the water flow is ok. It's just strange that it's doing the same thing as the old unit, could the new unit have a faulty thermostat?
