where is this sensor located. i can only see 2 on this boiler. the dhw one with the 2 green wires and the c/h one with the 2 red wires.

here now. The tap light actually flashes (which i think is what should happen as it goes into preheat mode) But it appears stuck in this mode on either dhw or heating. I'm thinking the whole diverter valve assembly needs replacing.

Thanks. I'll pick up a couple of new microswitches in the morning. Anything else other than "fused" microswitches that would cause this problem. And would a fused microswitch prevent the dv motor from working?? Steve

removed the d/v motor and ran the hot tap. Then i switched the panel selector switch to ch&dhw. Boiler fired up on full rate and tap led lit up on panel. Pushed the pin down and could hear a slight change of flow. However, hot water pipe stayed cold and heating pipe got hot. Whatever i do...

Thanks for the diagram. Going by it, "390" has been replaced like for like. The old assembly has been left so i could identify it. On "390" is a microswitch with black/white wires. Removing this and turn on the hot tap and the pin comes out. Bottom pin on "102" also comes out. pump spins and...

Thanks Tony. Just finished doing what you asked. The boiler does fire up on hot water (lukewarm) with the heating off. What i have just noticed whilst letting the hot water run is that the heating pipe and kitchen radiator is getting warm as well. Karen
