Hi all, just about to start fast track NVQ 2356 and 2391 insp & test course. Trying out the new tester and all test lead merge to one plug. When testing for (prospective fault current) and R1 R2 should I piggie back the green and blue leads. Hope someone can help.

So the outcome is what then. Put in an RCD Socket or take out the ring and put in a seperate rcd unit back at the CU.

Hi, Has anyone been to a job lately where the customer wants an extra socket putting in where the circuit doesn’t have RCD protection and where it would mean swapping the CU over due to age of the CU. How do you convince the customer that the work needs doing?
