thanks john i called my sparky who done work before he explained why not and is comming on monday to find a solution, it may cost me a bit more but it has to move, i dont wanna blow the fuse,

ill call my local qualified electrician out he can move it for me

thats not really the answer i was looking for!!and i also just read on this forum a person tested 2 of his fires on a ringmain socket and they both worked, if you dont know the answer dont post a coment, im only here for people who ONLY know the right answer :?

hi i have all econ 7 in my house, the big one in the lounge i want to put on the opposite wall, i notice to wire just goes in the wall with the on/off switch plate! can i put a plug on the end and just plug it into a normal socket? if not what can i do thanks david.
