Its not a police/key holder alarm. The alarm was serviced in June this year so we would just be paying for some engineer to come and press a few buttons. Think they do this to force you into an expensive contract. Hope it isn't too pricey for them to remove the damn thing!

Hi Everyone, we are about to move to a house with an existing Everest alarm. It was functioning perfectly but following a power cut it now won't work and comes up with a 'requires service/maintenance'. Phoned Everest to ask them for help ... apparantly we need to get an engineer over to reset it...
