Thank you for the advice, but being a novice are the zone valves situated by the hot water tank. thank you

I have a potterton ep2001 programmer and over the last couple of months the boiler keeps firing when the programming times have ended, I then set the C/H & H/W to off and still the boiler fires up. Can anyone help please. Thank you.
