All sorted, Got a plumber in, The ev was completely full and once that was sorted the cold 6 bar valve was found to also be leaking. Costed less than expected so was tipped for how prompt it was done

Is this not the case of just turning off electric and water and replacing a valve or is there special tools required to pressure check for the fault?

Ok thanks, what is a EV? Is it best to keep the electric boiler turned off and the water off until it's been looked at?
