Thank you for your quick reply Sleepyhead. Now for the silly question; is the pump located at the back of the machine and would I need a qualified engineer if replacement is required?

This is a built in appliance with no lights etc visible from outside. The DW begins it's cycle and fills with water and then about 2-3 minutes in (at the point I assume where the rotating sprinklers should start?) there is a fairly loud continual buzzing and nothing else happens. I have tried...
