I'm connecting the extension jack socket to the battery terminals of the 3v sounder. Polarity is correct. Still can't understand if the jacks giving out 3.2v why no go?

The Yale extension alarm is quite expensive at 45 quid. I've tried several different 3 volt sounders to no avail. I can't understand if the jack sockets giving out 3.2 volts why won't it power a 3 volt sounder.

Hi all,i have a Yale SAA5015 shed alarm and i am trying to connect an extension siren. The output is a jack giving out 3.5v.I've tried a few 3v sirens but none of them work. Any ideas?

Hi all...i've just changed my shed light to a led one but it interferes with my radio. My question is would a capacitor cure this,if so what value is needed?

Hi all,a friends roller door isn't lifting. Motor sounds ok when lowering but can hear relay clicking in control box when set to lift but nothing happens.Fuses are ok and theres power there. Does this sound like a dicky motor?

Hi,i have added a line out to my Google nest for recording from the radio. Iv'e taken it from the speaker terminals but sound is distorted even on low volume. Me thinks signal is too high so need a resistor but what value?

Hi, i'm running 4 analog cctv cameras and DVR on same 12v supply but have been told this is bad practice because the DVR should be on it's own 12v supply. Is this right? and if so why?

Hi all...iv'e just changed all our house bulbs to Leds including the fridge freezer bulb. Just noticed that the fridge led bulb stays on even with door closed,so put the old bulb back in and noticed it glows dimly which is apparently normal.so why does the led bulb stay at full brightness?
