Thank you for your reply the gas meter is in a cupboard at the front of the house and the electric meter at the back of the house ken m

There used to be a earth wire on the gas pipe but was only thin wire the gas company put new meter in but cut wire off and left a card saying I need a electrician ken m

Can you put the earth rod in the cupboard with the gas meter ken m
