    Hotpoint washing machine help please...

Well unfortunately since then my father has been up to have a look at it. He's 70 and let's just say, not as handy as he once was. He set it on another cycle so the machine is now full once again. Is there any way to drain it manually and without another flood? Thanks for your response btw :)

Hiya, now before I start, just know that I have no idea about washing machines so any advice, please word it so I have a fighting chance at understanding lol... I have a Hotpoint Aquarius WML940. My load finished and the door unlocked so without checking (who does?) I opened the door and my...

    Scaffolding

This is a bit of an odd question and I have no idea where else to ask but here goes.. My parents hired a builder (more of a jack of all trades but master of none if you ask me) to do some work on the rendering on the outside of their house as well as various other jobs to get it ready to...

A little help for a useless woman please...

My daughter, thinking I'm a wimp for being scared of a button, just flicked the switch that must NEVER be turned off. Turns out it just turns the heating control panel off. Mystery solved!

A little help for a useless woman please...

I think I may have to relocate. My council told me in no uncertain terms that no heating or hot water was not an emergency because my kids aren't infants. I'm pretty sure that when we have November weather in May even older kids feel the cold! As someone said earlier, they could take a little...

Scratch that, your picture just hadn't loaded. Gotcha. Will give it a go. One small question first though. That video said you need to turn the boiler off to do it but if I turn the boiler off, I can't see the display? Is it ok to leave on?

You're talking about the white pipe? The two pipes behind it bend to lie flat against the wall and the white pipe has been forcibly bent by the looks of it

Ok, I've watched the video and there doesn't appear to be anything like the hose he showed or anywhere to attach said hose. I've uploaded a couple of pics to show you.

A little help for a useless woman please...

I'll take a couple of photos in a minute or two. My mobile just died so it needs a bit of charge. I'm a bit worried about trying what you suggested in case I mess up and then the council charges me for fudging up their boiler. Is it fairly simple or could I easily mess up? Thank you Squeaky...
