I snipped the damaged cable and fitted a new terminal box. All working now

Seems to be 3 terminal ( 1 for each light) that has live to live and neutral to neutral. There's a big round junction box

Found the issue. One of the termianls had melted.

There's 3 downlights but I currently can't get access to the holes as they are buried under flooring / insulation. Can I just swap the lights to LEDs and get rid of that transformer ( if that's what it called) ?

All I have 62 plate civic Battery completely dead. Won't jump however when connected by leads to other car the dash lights etc will come to life that is until I try to start car then it completely dies again. Any suggestions on this ? The battery is only 4 or 5 years old.

What do you mean the same terminals? I've had a look and it looks like that's how its wired already
