Sussed it the black and grey cable was not connected just spoke to my plumber he connected the red cable when i told him the thermostat packed up and to leave till i got a new 1 2 years later, thanks for your help its been much appreciated

Ive done that now the flame symbol is coming on thermostat but the boiler is now not firing up ???

So remove that and put it back together and all should be ok fingers crossed

Is the red cable on the left side the link that needs to be removed ?

The original used to work fine but it only lasted a year so i replaced it with same 1 and that only worked for a year and then that stopped working, that was a drayton same as 1 in picture

Thats abit technical, have i got to unscrew the bottom panel on the boiler then ?

No that was the old 1 but the new 1 is same back plate and wired same, this is my new 1

Model is baxi combi 105 HE

W On my way home now so 5 mins and i will have the model and picture

Ill be home in next hour i will find out for you guys, where will it tell me whst model it is ??? It is a combi, its nearly same as this 1 but its not got the digital display if that helps

I wired it same as last 1 was wired, same as the instructions said and some1 told me to try swapping the wires around to see if it made any difference, it did not ! Do u think i need a new cable to the boiler ?
