thanks lads for your comments on my problem with the promax boiler, its a bit of a shock to be told to get other boiler after having it for just 2yrs.instalation, the thing is when it shuts down then relights it does not make the noise

the boiler alright untill it gets hot, then it starts to whine, then when the rads. are hot and the boiler slowly starts to shut down the whining stops
