Hi I was washing clothes in my bath and went to run the cold tap after the hot tap and nothing came out. I have tested all other taps in the house and they all work. What could this be and what can I do ?

It was most likely not set correctly like a lot of things we have found done wrong in this house. There is no gauge so how can we work out the correct pressure?
