I am very lucky as the nearest part of my neighbours house has a cellar, so his foundations go way below anything that I was or still am going to do.
Awaiting permission as we speak.
I am having the same should I send party wall act out, as I read it and as how my surveyor does,
within 3 metres as long as your foundations are not going to be deeper than his then no party act under 3 m rule apply.
within 6 metres as long as your foundations do not go lower than his...
Too wide, if I moved it back to the existing wall running down the rhs of kitchen then it would get approved, its that 1.5 metres just up to boundary that is the problem.
I am trying to think of a way to still use the space maybe take it back but somehow put something there.
Any suggestions?
I wish to plant some trees up against my fence in my back garden.
How high are they allowed to be? And grow to?
Is it the height when planted as they will grow(I know I am clever)?
Well I managed to get a surveyor to come over for free in regards to PWA, sort of free consultation.
Does that 6 hours involve him having a nap for 5 hours. I cant see how it would take it that long, but hey Im not a surveyor.
I totally understand, as I told the planning dept, I wouldent be doing this extension if it wasent for my father and unfortunately we need all the space possible.
I have got the OT to email the planning dept and I have also emailed and spoken to her. Its going to her boss to decide on...
From my dealings with the PWA, I believe
that by appointing an agreed surveyor would be in best interest, as he has come back and stated that he you need to speak to his surveyor I personally wouldent use him.
I would get my own surveyor, you will have to pay for his anyway but it cannot...
Where would I find this local planning policy?
Managed to get hold of the OT, who is going to email planning, she actually believes that it is slightly too small, and if any alterations are made to make it smaller then it would be detriment to my fathers needs.
