Thanks for all your help. Got a new PRV last night and fitted it. The old one was rather dirty with some sludge in. Pressure was still at 1.0 bar this morning and heating was working. Woohoo.. That will keep the Mrs quiet. Cheers

How difficult is it to replace the prv and expansion vessel ?

Hi, No leaks but water is coming out the overflow. I also found a magnaclean filtration unit attached to the return on the CH pipework which hasnt been cleaned for at least 3 years. Could this cause a problem ? I will take apart and clean later anyway. Thanks, Regards Kieran
