Hi Noseall, thats really helpful, if this is so successful why do the renderers we have spoken to say it will blow? If we decide to go with internal insulation what would be the procedure? Can we add over 2 inches of render to the building? Will this work? Thanks for all... -

Hi, It's 2 inches not 2 feet. We have been advised by our architect to attach celotex insulation between batterns. Then stainless steel lathing. We have consulted 3 local renderers and they have all said it will blow. So need to bring out the existing house by 2 inches so we can then... -

Hi :wink: , Have built extension to property with no cavity in the top 4ft, so steps in just over 2" from extension. Architect recommends insulating from the exterior to bring in line with new build and then completely render. Have been told this will blow even with stainless steel lathing...
