Problem Solved: For some reason the pliot light was getting blown out, thus shutting down the system. I've since cleaned the pilot nozzle and had a good clean up inside the combustion chamber and burner assembly, and now everything works fine.
I have replaced the thermocouple, and the pilot can now be lit, but the boiler will only fire up for about 30 seconds before shutting down completely.
any ideas

I have a Baxi central heating boiler approx. 18 years old, and last night while on, gave a loud clunk noise and turned off (no flame, no pilot light) I am now unable to turn the pilot light back on.
Any ideas/solutions
Cheers
