Hiya, The make of the hob is a Brandt. I suppose it didn't help that the instruction manual was in french !! lol :roll:

Ok eventually solved the mystery on this ceramic hob. You had to place a copper based pot onto the hob( ring ) to make the circuit, before it would work. Talk about never guessing in a million years !!! One to watch out for.. :roll:
