Try another switch is the simple awnser if everything else seems okay i would do that if still the same i would say the shower button/switch has now got faulty.

Its only nearly 3 years??

Heres a simple reasoning, Whats the point in putting a fcu if you can only put max 1 double socket, surely theres no point in the fcu if you cant or wont put more that 1 double after it?
