thanks for the reply zampa. all walls were lined, there was no pattern match as it was a plain gold paper and splicing was just as bad as butt joints but left more paste marks.

I recently had to paper a room with romo gold wallpaper and it was a nightmare.every joint showed,creased as soon as you touched it and marked with paste no matter how careful.just wondered if anyone else had used it and how did you find it?
