my apologies if my post was a little confusing...
basically, do i have to remove an existing ceiling in order to add insulation, or could we just place the insulation on the tongue and groove currently in place and then plaster over (if using rigid board insulation)?
Does that make more sense?
I am trying to understand whether it is possible for us to add insulation over the top of our existing ceiling and walls (look like a garden shed siding effect) without having to remove the current covering. We don't mind losing the space and really need to get it done as it only has polystyrene...
