Someone has just told me this is a total station and not a theodolite. I looked them both up and the look very much the same thing to me. Can anyone tell me what the difference is (if any)?
I'm told a total station is worth more than a theodolite - is that right, and if so, why?
I don't think you lot are taking me seriously!
I think I'm going to sell it to that company tomorrow unless any of these offers are serious. If you do want it then please message me.
I've just been offered £200 for it from a company who refurbishes equipment and resells.
It seems it needs some parts and work and they said it's a "museum piece". If that's true then it makes me wonder what it would be worth after the refurb and money spent on parts. hmmmm... certainly over...
He owned a building company which flopped and now he works for someone else. I dont think he used this tool often, it just seemed to sit on a shelf. I was thinking of ebay but I can't find much info about it to describe it on ebay.
Yes, he knows I am selling his tools. Lets call it pay back for not paying what he owed when I booted him out last month!
I have no idea what a theodolite does and looking on the web I still don't understand what they do.
Do you want to make an offer on it?
Hi everyone, I am selling my ex's tools and managed to get rid of most of them at a few car boots.
I have this odd thing left and I have no idea what it is, what it does or how much it's worth but frankly I don't care so if anyone wants to make an offer let me know
I didn't take this...
