Clear silicon the top and two sides on the outside ,will stop water going behind and easier to take off if it needs maintained .

I don't think a GSR engineer would touch it . Why risk your lively hood for £100 . The Benchmark book not being filled in would start the alarm bells straight off.

What does it look like in loft ?.

I think the flashing should lift up. Have a look on U tube about soakers and flashing around chimneys .

Are there lead soakers under the flashing ?.

Looks like a normal cheap bar shower and possible damage done to nuts when being tightened up.

Also what dishwasher is it ,be good to check reviews .

Have you tried consumers advice ,would be worth giving them a call .

Does the consumers act not cover items like this?. If its an inherent fault it is not fit for purpose and you should demand all your money back .
