It is a Monarch door and currently Union handles with backplate 170mm x 47mm. Existing screws 160mm apart. PZ 46mm

Ah yes, what we currently have is dual / split spindle operation! Are working fine just handle and backplate looking really scruffy, so want to replace.

If anyone is up for the challenge, I seeking to find appropriate fitting handles with a white finish!

Difficult to see in pic but wanted to demonstrate the PZ on each side were the same. It is due to the internal mechanism of the door that lends itself to needing the two shorter spindles.

PZ is fine. If there wasn't the issue of the upper and lower screws in the wrong places, there is still the functionality issue that the handles need to work independently of one another (i'm assuming made partly possible by having two short spindles, rather than one long one as came in the new...

Thanks Gazman16, your advice worked and you're right, it did feel like we where going to break something! Sadly, we've discovered the replacement lever/lever handles are not suitable as there do not work independently of one another (they have one shared spindle rather than the current two)...

The backplates cannot be moved without the handles being removed. Please see photos now posted.
