Hey ricicle, No the irons wasn't full of water when they where PAT tested. Should they have? Cheers.

Sorry ricicle, Yes they are steam irons.

The Irons have also been PAT tested and have passed. Surely that would have picked up an earth fault?

Can anyone tell me why when using the iron the RCD seems to trip. It has happened with three different Irons and its intermittent. All the electrics have had a full test and inspection and are fine. Thanks for any advice.

Hi guy's Please help, I want to change my kitchen extractor fan, I have a 6inch whole in the wall but when looking at the fans its giving me two sizes, Do I just get a 150mm extractor & not worry that is say's 173mm ...

I'm going there tomo to help call there supplier to see if we can get an earth put in place as they have agreed to have a new CU fitted. Though said cant afford to have PEB's done as well just yet.

Thanks Securespark I did look for peb's but there was nothing in place.

Thanks Lectrician, I didn't know TT could also be supplied underground as well. There was no incoming earth & the garden has been concreted which make's it hard to put in an earth spike, though I did suggest that as a second option.
