No, not at all. We have lots of trees and have to do the whole house regularly. When I poured the water in today, I made sure it went nowhere near the top and put food colouring in it just to be sure it was seen easily. The joint is dry on the corner underneath.

I hope these help. I don't know if the roof is wood or aly I'm afraid. We have no water inside, it's all seeped into the frame and corner at the right angle where the red tape is. The previous owners appear to have added some filler, without finding the the actual leak. Thanks
