Have old Indesit washer WG1130. Will only spin and complete cycle with a light load. It won't spin if I put towels in. Have checked the belt and this is ok. Any ideas please?

have just installed compact Optima alarm. Only problem is when PIR's pick you up and alarm is in day mode they still bleep. Can anyone help pleae?
