Hi foxhole, thanks for your reply. I tried to do the "back to front" but the wider end won't fit into the spigot under the sink. I was thinking of using lots of duct tape to stick them together. I'll try the 22mm copper option. Thanks again.

I'm trying to extend my washing machine waste pipe as it's too far. The B&Q guy gave me a waste pipe, outlet union and a jubilee clip. However, the outlet union won't fit into the end of the waste pipe. It just won't go in. Has he given me the wrong size? Or am I doing something wrong? I've...
