Thanks for reply JohnD - no its very hard - not rubbery at all - it goes a little way up the walls and, fortunately all the joints there are ok.

The joints in my bathroom floor are coming apart in small areas - its not in the wet room shower area but am worried it will worsen. Is there a waterproof grout or glue suitable for sealing these areas please? I don't know what the floor is made of - it looks like a hard upvc type. I am in...
