I've tried the hosepipe and the plunger - doesn't make any difference. We even bought a bendy metal unblocker and that hasn't worked. We've only just moved into this house - is it possible the toilet/drain is faulty? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Our downstairs toilet seems to flush ok but doesn't empty properly - the water gets really high, almost to the top of the bowl, before slowly emptying. Any ideas? Please help
