no manual unfortunately, hence this post. i googled but couldn't find any manuals for my specific boiler, and none of them said how to add an external thermostat anyway :( the radiators have stats on them, but i will also be adding one.

i was going to get rid of the integral timer all together and replace it with an external timer with an override input. the override input would be the equivelent of pressing override on the integral boiler (if its off, it becomes on untill the next off program and vice versa). the override...

i wish! i AM running CAT5 to the places where i can. and my room will be done in between the old carpets coming out and the new ones in. but that's a bit of time away yet. i have got one CAT5 cable that i've been dragging round the house when the WIFI is bad, but everyone else complains...

no more than 5 meters. the router is mounted at the top of the wall on the ground floor under the stairs (not in a cupboard) and i am in the closest room to it on the first floor. only lath walls and the floorboards/lath ceiling are in the way.

my wifi is terrible. it keeps loosing connection. the actual connection seems to stay connected (the computer says its connected to the WIFI network) but i loose all connection, i can't use the internet, or access the LAN. its getting really annoying! to the point where i can't watch youtube...

ah right, so triple and earth only comes in 1.5mm? that's a shame. i did think about two rings in and out of each socket, but you'd have to have very deep backboxes for that.
