Hi guys - I have managed to get the panel in that was blocking it and now have clear access to the tank. This is what I see at the moment - should the water be a concern as it is?
Do I still need to get into the other part of the tank to fix the overflow problem or can I fix this here?
cheers
I need to smash the top panel of the door in - Will have to wait till weekend due to the time I get home from work. I managed to take a picture of the inside however. Not sure if this shows anything. Looks rank though.
Hi - I'm in a ground floor flat and my overflow hasn't stopped leaking over the past few weeks. My water tank appears to be boxed in, is this where the problem will be or is there somewhere else I can look/fix to fix the problem? Thankfully it's not leaking onto anyone but it's turning into a...
I dont have a water meter and am in a ground floor flat. Checked the blob of soldering, was just a blod of soldering. The copper does look bad but i guess that could have been the wet and damp over the last 7 years?
I am wondering if there is a leak under the floor but its concrete, no way...
Nothing coming from the baths ubend I don't think. Just wondering if the 7years wetness will take longer then I thought to dry and if I should continue with the dehumidifier, or could there be a bigger problem. We did have insurance company send around a trace plumber as we thought it was...
Update - the plumber fixed the leak day after my last post.
The floor is still wet to the touch 2-3 weeks after the leak has gone, is this cause for concern? I have a dehumidifier on pretty much 24/7 and its being filled once a day.
Should be really simple but I am not sure what materials or tools i need to box in the pipes, maybe create a small shelf with it?

Sorry mate had the original guy come on Friday night. Attached the finished work, bit better? Nothing has leaked out yet so seems better so far.
Just waiting for the floor to dry out now before i get a new bath panel.
seco services - only been able to get one person over since it was unveiled on Wednesday and he said he has a job on Saturday that he maybe able to come over from after. If you could come tonight or tomorrow morning be great?
Had couple of plumbers look at it now and they said its a proper botched job, the big highlight in red is ok, but the water is then expected to travel upwards no? Pretty stupid idea would never last.
