    Lidl Thermostatic Shower Problem

Sounds like either one side of the shower inlet is blocked, ie on the back of the shower the filter is full of crap or the none return valve in the back of the shower may be a bit stiff. Try pushing them firmly with something to check they spring back. Also wont be the 1st time ive seen a...

    Lidl Thermostatic Shower Problem

Sounds like the installer has got the feeds the wrong way around. The hot MUST go to the left of the valve as you look at it. EDIT: Some thermostatic showers allow you to rectify this from the valve (without having to swap the feeds over). If you still have the instructions because im not...

    Lidl Thermostatic Shower Problem

Mixing valves are a pain in the nuts. You can get a thermostatic bar shower for £60. You could get around your current probs by putting a pressure reducing valve on the cold feed to the shower, but thats as much as a hassle as fitting a better shower

    shower problem

If i remember correctly everything is on the right hand side with the 100xr, which isnt a problem as long as you have the space to move it over 5-6 inches to the left. Also your current shower would have to be tiled behind. Im pretty sure they only do the 100xr in 9.5kw and 10.5.kw. Looking...

    shower problem

Did you pay for the spares? Most of the time an old shower isnt worth fixing anyway. You can get a Newteam, Bristin, Galaxy for around the £60 mark anyway. Plus for installers its not worth the hassle. We fix a part and if something else goes on it in the next 12months the customer blames...

    underfloor heating temperature difference

Is it a John Guest Speed fit system? If so give them a call, they do surveys, commissioning etc all for free. If you have any problems its best to sort them now before the screed goes in.

    Radiator Brackts for a 1400 x 200mm radiator

If you can post a photo of the back it may shed a little light on it, and a way around of sending it back.

    Chipped bath

Fitted a £800 Matki shower tray couple of years back, left the tiler with it to do his business. When came back a few days later for the second fix, noticed that he had been a bit messy leaving blobs of adhesive in the tray. Didnt think anything of it until the next day when was cleaning the...

Bungalow With Vented System Has Poor Flow To New Sink Tap

Kitchen fitters arent plumbers, so check the flexi on the tap isnt tied in knots. Some people think flexis are magic and can allow water to pass through kinks an all.

    Noise from HW cylinder.

Kettle noise? or a banging noise? Is the noise just at the cylinder or does it occur around the boiler as well? If you can get in the loft and check your F&E tank (the little one, not the big one) has water in it and that the ball valve isnt jammed.

    Radiator Brackts for a 1400 x 200mm radiator

All these modern stylish ones have a different hanging system now. They have cupped shaped bracket that holds the radiator along the bottom and top bar, thus the fixing bars on the back wouldnt be necessary Edit: Looking at the photo that wouldnt be possible with this rad anyway. My bad
