    Decking fascia boards

Thanks. There’s a 5mm gap but not where they butt together - will be mitring that corner.

    Decking fascia boards

Yes I’ll take them off and mitre - realised that when I put them on. And I didn’t realise there was a top and bottom to the boards - what do you mean?!

    Decking fascia boards

Is there any problem with installing fascias so the top is flush with the top of the deck boards? Was thinking drainage may be an issue but the opposite side won’t have a fascia as it’s unseen so water can run off that side? Heard from a few folk that it’s a neater way of doing it to hide the...

Covering up cooker extractor in fitted kitchen (Ed.)

Yeah new kitchen. What’s not great? Just needing an idea to fill the space as original design had it as a usable space with no extractor pipe…

Covering up cooker extractor in fitted kitchen (Ed.)

I’d rather something cover the full space as narrow box in middle would look daft imo. The ‘batten’ is just spare plinths in their cardboard box

Covering up cooker extractor in fitted kitchen (Ed.)

Any ideas what to do to cover this space? I have enough decor panel to frame something up and have the plinth I can run along the top like either side but not sure what’s going to look the part… Thanks in advance. Logan

How to get textured wall look?

I want to create a textured wall look in my porch as the plaster work is terrible and I can’t justify spending a fortune getting it skimmed for how little we use it. I have done some research and purchased joint compound (https://www.wickes.co.uk/Knauf-Premium-Joint-Filler---10kg/p/224541) and...
