We had our walls skimmed and then mist coated and painted as we should have. There is a patch on the fireplace that is damp and we have now sanded this down. I have been advised to use an oil based primer and then paint over that. Should we mist coat before using an oil primer? Thanks

I'm not sure as my partner did it whilst I was at work and he can't remember...it still hasn't dried so I don't know if we should do another coat to cover it up or sand it down? If we sand it down should we do another mist coat? Thank you

So we got our walls plastered last week, waited the advised time and then did a mist coat. After the mist coat dried we painted coat 1 of grey...as you can see its patchy which makes me think plaster wasn't dry. What can we do??? Do we just wait another couple of days to re coat l or is there...
