the display unit was replaced 1.5 months ago as it had stopped working. I was trying to understand if this has something to do with the current problem :)

Forgot to mention in my earlier post.. I have recently replaced the display unit..1.5 months ago...is there any chance i may have got a rotten unit?

hi Tony, thanks for the reply. I checked the display unit and don't see any signs of dampness there. If the PCB has failed, should it not turn off completely?, or am i missing something? :)

folks, this is a strange one...when i switch the bolier ON through the mains, the display unit seems to flicker in and out of life. The code reads 0.0 but the display unit does not light up fully. On other occasions, when the display unit lights up fully, the boiler gets going as normal...
