Hi, On a new combi boiler installation, would it be sufficient to install any programmable room thermostat that has an 'optimum start' feature built in? Would this meet the mimunum requirements for Part L compliance? Many thanks.

Hi all, I've been sent the following pics for a job. I'm guessing its a simple combination storage heater with a bottom entry hot water outlet. Measures 600mm wide 1100mm high. Any recommendations for a like for like (assuming my assumptions on it are correct :unsure:) Thanks.

Hi, I have no choice but to run boiler pipework externally for a run of approx 6m for each pipe. Which is less prone to freezing, copper or poly? Also what type of lagging would you guys recommend? Thanks

Hi, i have a problem with a very noisy bath tap on the cold side. Its a mixer and no such problems on the hot. The strange thing is the noise is only present when the cold is either slighty or fully opened. If opened to the middle position its fine (silent). The flow is adequate. Thanks...
