My new back yard patio of paving stones is growing a bit of moss already, in the joints. Clearly aided by the fact that I haven't had a chance to apply the sealer yet. I can't use lime: it will colour the pavers. Is there something reasonably environmentally friendly that will kill the moss...

I haven't had a chance to do the seal coat on our nice new paving stones, installed last May. Now that the leaves are falling, some dark brown stains have been left behind. Is there a way to remove these before I get around to applying the sealer, probably next Spring? Muriatic acid? Thanks.
