Thanks Breezer. When you say connect the red from the switch to the red from the loop in, do you mean add a new connector block in the light fitting? Apart from that it all seems straightforward I will give it a go (if it ever stops raining!) Thanks once again for your help

Yes all cables identified, 2 going to the other lights, 1 coming from the switch and 1 marked loop.

I have recently had an extension built. The builder left the cabling for three outside lights to be connected. There are 4 cables at the centre light, 2 to supply power to the other 2 lights, 1 supply and one loop in. How do I connect this wiring inside the light which only has the standard...
