Hi Had a look after work tonight Unfortunatley no air bleed and the top fitting has been sealed. I took the front cover off the boiler and there doesn't appear to be a bleed here either :cry: So I can't see how the system would have been bled, except from day 1 when it was filled.

Hi Yes coming to think about it, the only pump I can recall is the C/H pump in the airing cupboard. Would you think that the stat was dodgy? Is there any way of testing the stat apart from substitution? Thanks again for your help

I have a Potterton Falmingo2 bolier. Pilot light is on okay, but when the H/W switch is switched on to contstant the burner fires up runs for about 2 minutes then shuts off. It will not fire up again for about 1 houre then it will fire up again for about 2 minutes and again then shuts off...
