Need a tall ladder or someone to remove weeds from roof E10

Got two annoying weeds growing on my roof top. Could someone come over to get rid of the weeds and help repair my roof if necessary? My house is about 6m tall. Happy to do the work myself if someone could lend me a ladder. I live in Leyton, London. Thanks.

    Problems removing a door lock

Hi crank39 - Yes I've taken the grub screws out, are you saying what I should do next is to remove the black caps (by force? as I can't find any screws holding them)? Then the handles should go?

    Problems removing a door lock

Thanks masona - it looks like the handles sit on top of those white cover plates. hi foxhole - i don't want to reduce the width becuase that's the only way to the stairs and reducing the size of door would make it difficult to move stuff around. a pair of equal size doors would mean two doors of 61 cm x 198cm? As they are not standard size, would any carpenter make them...

First post: door or door equivalent?

Hi all - I'm new to DIY so apologies if my questions sound silly! We need to install a door which separates our kitchen from the staircase. It's standard height but slightly wider: 124cm(width) * 187cm(height). I wonder where I could get such a door? We do need one which fits well and...
