Thanks Scatmanjohn, Sorry for delay in replying. The gas fitter did attend about a year ago and cleaned the injector and burners. That did improve things, but only for a few weeks, so looks like replacement parts are the only real answer.

Thanks Scatmanjohn, Have tried the swop but little difference, could try the clean you suggest but would prefer new fire. This will be a problem as there is only gas to the current set-up, any disruption to house would have to be a very last resort.
