They are definitely sink ones and are 15mm pipes. I've just cut out the drain cocks and got rid of them now as I didn't see the point of them. They will be under the floor which will be tiled over anyway.
I am currently replacing our little WC sink and toilet and need to move the hot and cold pipes to fit the new sink. Does anyone know what these valves on the hot and cold water pipes to the sink are? Do I need them? And do they make speedfit ones that I can use instead? They are beneath my...
Well the wire will have to get to the switch by any means necessary and I am having the hall and WC renovated anyway so any mess made will be made good. The light switch is only about 2 meters from the pull cord junction box.
Yes the right switch turns the hall light on/off and the light switch further down the hall turns the same light on/off.
Heres a couple more photos of the wiring. The 3 gang switch is literally right outside the WC so you would have thought it once operated the WC light.
Can't think what it would be for. The left switch controls the outside light. The middle switch does nothing. The right switch is for the hall light. Definitely not for loft lights and I have no disconnected outside lights or round pin sockets.
There is already a 3 gang switch in the hall for it which is what I want to connect it to. Currently one switch operates an outside light, one a hall light and the other does nothing. There is no fan it is just a WC with no bath or shower.
I want to put a new light in the bathroom which is currently operated by a pull cord. I want to remove the pull cord and wire it up to the light switch. Do I just remove the round box on the ceiling that the pull cord is attached to and join the wires together?
Just moved into a new house and making some changes. I want to move this radiator to the wall opposite and replace it with a smaller one. But I'm not sure why there are so many pipes beneath it. I've already moved one in another room so I pretty much know what to do when there is just one pipe...
