Thanks for the reply, not sure though did find old large copper pipes capped off and cut in the combi boiler cupboard and in access hatch in fire place, Adey filter working great so quiet and very little magnatite found on magnet. Central heating working throughout house though some radiators...
Further update. Left the system as it was heating one radiator now great output..very little magnatite on filter which is good news, so isolated each one individually and each one works ie whole radiator is hot, including the downstairs that was cold I suppose having some patience would be a...
Further update...
My combi boiler saga continues...kept the system running trying isolating one rad at a time...which was great in that this one would work. At times receiving fault code 02. Reset would work. However we want them all to work and cant afford to fit a new system. Still get great...
Thanks. Just so I understand. With boiler switched on and turned to hot water. Remove the clip that holds it in place. Then run hot tap. Push pun in. Turn off tap. Turn dial to hw/radiators. Push the pin in. It still works. I will do it now. Thanks.

What I have noticed is the motorised valve when attached sits loose like and wondering if that would affect the pin?
Any other advice welcome as stumped...

Update:
- with pump setting at 3 I went round to open rads individually and some success this time some heat went to five though rads not hot like the temp gauge on the boiler...at 85 rads just warm.
- Started on the last two however this morning although...
I assume they are coz the flow and return pipes get hot from the boiler to the floor. Also in not properly switching off the return when removing end cap further along the pipeline the water gushed out. There has never been a problem..re-filling the system and radiators when flushed and drained...
on advice from above:
- removed motorised valve and checked diverter valve..pin moved in and out all looked okay.
- Inside the motorised valve there are two plastic clips one blue and one green. The green one was fitted correctly however the blue one was out of its slot spring intact...
