Thanks so its fine just to change the electric unit behind my gas cooker to a single socket to plug my gas cooker plug into the one for the cooker light will i need to change the fuse. thanks

hello im new to this so please bare with me. i would like to replace the unit behind my cooker for a single socket and have been told to reduce the amp in the consumer unit from a 32 to a 16 is this correct and if so how do i remove the 32amp. thanks
